Biography
Dr Erum Saba is currently working as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Mamji Hospital, Karachi since Oct 2018. Her major interests are in infertility and laproscopy. Mamji Hospital is a 100 bed tertiary care hospital in Karachi. At Mamji Hospital, she has independently performed around 200 major laparoscopic surgeries. In addition to this, she is doing OPD at Faisal Clinic and Mamji and checks 50 patients per day. She is also doing surgeries at Kohi Goth Hospital. Kohi Goth Hospital is a charitable hospital in Karachi, where major Gynaecological surgeries are performed free of cost for the poor and needy people. Prior to this, Dr Erum Saba worked as a specialist gynaecologist at Zulekha Hospital, Dubai from Sep 2016 to Sep 2018. During her time at Zulekha Hospital she attended fellowship and diploma training programs for laparoscopic surgeries from Kiel Hospital, Germany and Hameed Latif Hospital, Pakistan. Furthermore, she also did a fellowship in Cosmetic Gynaecology and IVF from Dubai. Before joining Zulekha Hospital, Dr Erum Saba worked as a specialist gynaecologist at Aster Clinic, Al Barsha Dubai from Sep 2014 to Sep 2016. During her time at Aster Clinic, she performed surgical procedures and deliveries at Aster Hospital, Al Mankhool Dubai. Before moving to Dubai, Dr Erum worked at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Karachi firstly as a FCPS resident and then as a Senior Registrar from 2008 to Sep 2014.
